October 14, 2023 – TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto reports from the frontlines of the Israel-Gaza War while on active duty with the IDF. As the war reaches day 8, the IDF has issued warnings to citizens of the Northern Gaza Strip to evacuate the warzone before action is taken by the IDF by way of airstrikes on known Hamas infrastructure in the area, but a combination of Hamas threats to the people of Gaza and Egypt closing the border has made it nearly impossible for civilians to safely evacuate the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, to the north, tensions with Hezbollah out of Lebanon continue to rise, as many fear a new front will be opened in the war in Israel. October 14, 2023 – Footage has emerged appearing to show a convoy of evacuating Gazans being targeted. Hamas has claimed the strike was carried out by Israel and reported 70 are dead and 200 injured. IDF’s Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner has said the IDF is “looking into the circumstances”. Asked about the IDF’s evacuation call to civilians in the Gaza Strip, he went on to say “people are adhering and listening” to this.
October 15, 2023 – ISRAEL Defense Forces on Sunday (October 15) claimed that Israel is not responsible for the explosion that blew up a convoy carrying Palestine civilians in Salah-al-Din, one of the main roads in the Gaza Strip. “What I am able to say with confidence, because we have asked, is that the IDF did not purposely strike in that area. There was no targeting of vehicles,” said Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Jonathan Conricus. Israel has vowed to annihilate the terrorist group Hamas in retaliation for terror attack by its fighters in Israeli towns eight days ago, in which the terror group shot men, women and children and seized hostages in the worst attack on civilians in the country’s history. On Friday (October 13), the Israeli military told residents of the northern half of the Gaza Strip, which includes the enclave’s biggest settlement, Gaza City, to move south immediately. On Saturday (October 14), it said it would guarantee the safety of Palestinians fleeing on two main roads until 4 p.m. (1300 GMT). Some videos circulated online from Gaza City on Friday (October 13) showed a convoy of evacuees from Gaza City being hit by shelling. Hamas told people not to leave, saying roads out were unsafe.
October 15, 2023 – Israel has accused Hamas of forcibly preventing Palestinians in Gaza from relocating to the southern part, a demand made by the IDF ahead of its impending ground offensive. Israel said Hamas believes that dead civilians are more valuable than alive. IDF also reiterated its warning to civilians to evacuate northern Gaza, a region Israel said houses top Hamas commanders and the militant group’s infrastructure.
October 16, 2023 – Amid the escalating conflict, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) accused Hamas of blocking evacuation routes in the Gaza Strip. According to the Israeli military, a large number of Palestinians are caught up in roadblocks set up by Hamas. The IDF has ordered Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate as they prepare for an anticipated ground invasion.
