July 8, 2017 – The Shroud of Turin is secured in a vault in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin, Italy, the Shroud is believed by millions to be the burial cloth of Jesus. It is a fine linen cloth, measuring 14.5 feet by 3.5 feet, and mysteriously displays a finely detailed negative photographic image — front and back, head to toe, of an anatomically correct man who appears to have been tortured, beaten, and crucified. Note that, in their accounts of Christ’s suffering and death on the cross, all four Gospels mention a “fine linen cloth.”
April 17, 2020 – For the first time projective geometry and photogrammetric survey, operating for many decades in the field of archeology, have been used to study the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo. The Shroud reveals a new phenomenon, a shocking reality. The fabric features distinct and sequential images released from parts of the body and moving objects. The phenomenon is similar to the result of stroboscopic photography. A single frame is impressed by the light reflected by a moving body, when a flash emits a series of flashes at very short intervals of time. The right hand is clenched into a fist in pulling an object, identified in the long belt of a tefillà tied around the left arm. This shows the voluntary movement of a man in full physical form.
The same right hand in another position, the lower one, shows instead that in that instant the body was already considerably detached from the horizontal plane on which it had been placed. Even the left foot, the left hand, the nails, the tefillins, are surveyed in dozens of distinct positions in sequence. The results of the last few years confirm several times that a pulsating source of energy, distant within the body, a source of penetrating energy, radiated in the two opposite directions all the atoms of the body in movement and of objects in movement. The projective scheme of it has been identified. The strength of these results lies in the objectivity of the data and in the repeatability of the photogrammetric restitution.

July 3, 2021 – The Shroud of Turin’s latest findings are staggering. It is a multiple exposure and the man in the image was ALIVE AND MOVING! Was this the moment of the resurrection of Jesus? The nails in his hands and feet show they were moving, the Tefillin on his arms shows his arm was moving and his belt buckle shows he was breathing.
April 9, 2022 – How Jesus looked according to the Shroud of Turin. Also known as the Holy Shroud, it’s a length of fabric which is claimed to have wrapped Jesus after crucifixion, bearing a negative image believed by some to be the face of Jesus. The shroud has been rigorously tested, having been radiocarbon dated to the Middle Ages between years 1260 and 1390, and many theories have been posited for how the image on the shroud was created, including painting, acid pigmentation, medieval photography, dust-transfer, bas-relief, Mailard reaction and others.
April 13, 2022 – Documentary exploring the mysteries behind the Shroud of Turin, believed by millions of Christians to be the burial cloth of Jesus, with many interviews with scientists, scholars, religious leaders and theologians that have examined and tested the Shroud. June 6, 2022 – Since it first popped up on history’s radar hundreds of years ago, the Shroud of Turin has captivated scientists, the public, and people of God worldwide. The linen is viewed by some as the burial Shroud of Jesus Christ and others as a medieval forgery. The story of the piece of cloth is an age-old tale that threads together a centuries old debate about a religious artifact that has survived fires and a series of perils across a journey through history. The first gaze upon the mysterious relic resembles a Rorschach’s test of damage dating back hundreds if not thousands of years.
June 9, 2022 – The sudarium of Oviedo and the shroud of Turin are both believed to be relics of Jesus Christ. The sudarium of Oviedo is a facecloth that covered Jesus’ face when he was taken down from the cross, while the shroud of Turin is the actual burial shroud. The sudarium of Oviedo and the shroud of Turin share many similarities; they are physically linked.

I feel like…sorrow, anguish for all he had went through, he is very, very damaged, deteriorated, especially in the head with the thorns. I did not know that thorns have been nailed so much in him, yes, makes me (feel) anguish.”
07. People looking closely at figure of Jesus on display
08. (Spanish) Ismenia Arteaga, cathedral visitor: “The truth is that I am quite shocked by all the detail and the care that they have taken. They leave to (our) free will what to think of the image, the emotion which each person gives it and the respect for a piece of art that you feel is real.”
09. Close view of figure
10. (Spanish) Carlos Gomez, cathedral visitor: “(I am) Impressed, first by the exhibition itself and secondly by the many questions that the whole exhibition creates because evidently the scientific studies are real but still it creates a lot of questions. How is possible that something could have left an impression on a canvas, from a reflection after two centuries, (corrects himself) I mean 2,000 years.”
11. Various of visitors
12. (Spanish) Carmen García, cathedral visitor: “I’m living it, I’m looking at it and I think I’m seeing it and I’m very excited. I’ve even seen the hair on its parts (genitals) and everything, it’s incredible the emotion I’ve felt, I don’t know, I just didn’t expect it.”
13. Set up of Lia Limcaoco looking at the figure

17. Various set up shots of curator Alvaro Blanco looking at the figure
18. (Spanish) Alvaro Blanco, curator, “The Mystery Man”: “I think the debate of this piece, this sculpture, is what it arouses in us, the empathy of that skin with us. For the first time you see a figure and although art has represented Jesus in certain moments, here what is being represented is his skin, to put skin on the Holy Shroud, to humanize Jesus Christ.”

February 12, 2023 – Every year, thousands of people gather around the Shroud of Turin to pray and hope for benevolent guidance. For centuries there hasn’t been a way to prove that this piece of fabric is worthy of public praise, but one scientific breakthrough will finally answer all questions. The world held its breath waiting to hear the results, and religious groups knew one verdict could shatter centuries of beliefs. After today, history will forever be changed based on a single speck of dust. The Shroud of Turin is soaked in history and skepticism. It first appeared after disappearing for centuries in Lirey, France. To understand why the world was standing still waiting for these results, you have to go even deeper into history.
March 14, 2023 – Confirming Yeshua Volumes 1 & 2, authored by me, Otangelo Grasso, have been published and are up for sale on Amazon, both, in Kindle version, and as a paperback. Joe Marino, Shroud of Turin expert, author of: The 1988 C-14 Dating of the Shroud of Turin: A Stunning Exposé: Grasso’s 2-volume work on Jesus of Nazareth is the most impressive work. It goes into painstaking details regarding every aspect of his impactful life and confirms his historicity. Dealing with every aspect of his existence, the work has numerous color pictures, tables, charts, and maps. Both epic volumes belong in everyone’s collection, Christian and skeptic alike. Volume 1 examines Old Testament prophecies that found their fulfillment in Jesus, the reliability of the Gospels, the date of the crucifixion, and the reality of the Resurrection.
Volume 2 examines the genealogy of Jesus, various skeptical claims against his existence, and the overwhelming amount of evidence that points to the Shroud of Turin being the actual burial cloth that wrapped Jesus in the tomb. “Confirming Yeshua” is the “one-stop to go”, probably the most comprehensive collection of information out there, corroborating Jesus Christ as the foreseen messiah in the Old Testament, the savior of the world in Isaiah 53..Volume 1 is an invaluable resource for readers seeking a deeper understanding of the evidence supporting the reality of Jesus Christ. Volume 1 explores one by one the fulfillment of over 300 prophecies about the Messiah in the life of Jesus Chapter 1 The books of the Old Testament contain various prophecies that point to the coming of the Messiah.
In this book, we delve into the significance of the 356 prophecies about the coming of the Messiah, their fulfillment in the life of Jesus Chapter 2 It explores the prophecy of Daniel’s seventy weeks and its significance in dating the book of Daniel. We discuss the start date of the prophecy and the historical and astronomical evidence that supports its validity. Chapter 3 For over two millennia, the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ have been the subject of intense study and debate. Chapter 4 We will look at various archaeological discoveries to gain a better understanding of the context in which the gospels were written. Chapter 5 The authenticity and historicity of the gospels have been questioned. This book provides evidence corroborating the authenticity and historicity of the events described in the four Gospels.
“Confirming Yeshua” Volume 2 is an invaluable resource for readers seeking a deeper understanding of the evidence supporting the reality of Jesus Christ. Confirming Yeshua, Volume 2, provides a comprehensive exploration of the life, teachings, and significance of Jesus Christ from multiple perspectives. Chapters 1 & 2 The first two chapters delve into the genealogy of Jesus and the concept of the God-Man, examining the differences between the genealogies in Matthew and Luke and the confirmation of Jesus as the Messiah. Chapter 3 It focuses on the evidence of authenticity, archaeology, and undesigned coincidences in the book of Acts. Chapter 4 It examines a written debate between a Christian apologist and an atheist historian on the plausibility of the Christian faith.
Chapter 5 The historicity of Jesus is explored, examining sources that testify to his existence and the reliability of the Gospels. Chapter 6 It delves into books that oppose Jesus Christ as an authentic historical figure and his resurrection. Chapters 7 – 14 They take a deep dive into the history, science, and faith surrounding the Shroud of Turin. This burial cloth is believed by many to be the actual shroud in which Jesus of Nazareth was buried, and the image on the cloth is said to be a miraculous impression left by his body as he lay in the tomb. The book explores the biblical references to the burial shroud of Jesus, its chronology from AD 30 to the 14th century, recent scientific discoveries, and overwhelming cumulative evidence that supports its authenticity.
Chapter 15 It delves into the question of what Jesus Christ looked like from a historical and cultural perspective. The chapter explores the different sources that provide insight into Jesus’ appearance during his lifetime, including the Bible, contemporary descriptions, and cultural norms. March 25, 2023 – Shroud of Turin: The evidence, that corroborates Jesus’ historicity and biblical identity.
April 5, 2023 – The words “Yeshua (Jesus) the Nazarene” were found hidden in the image of the Shroud of Turin, the infamous cloth that supposedly holds the image of Jesus at the moment of His resurrection. These words were only found when the image was examined by a visualization program on a computer. Only then were they visible. How did those words get on the image? Are they related to an ancient Roman practice of the day? What other evidence is there that the Shroud is authentic? Watch this Nelson Walters Holy Week video for incredible answers.
July 26, 2023 – In the mysterious realm where science and faith intersect, there lies a relic that has captivated believers and skeptics alike for centuries – the enigmatic Shroud of Turin. Get ready to witness astonishing findings that challenge everything we thought we knew about the Shroud. Is the Shroud of Turin actually the burial cloth of Jesus Christ? Or merely an elaborate forgery? Can modern science finally confirm or debunk its connection to the crucifixion? And most importantly, what does this mean for our understanding of faith, history, and the boundaries of scientific inquiry?
July 30, 2023 – Is the debate over the Shroud of Turin over? Many Christians believe it was the burial cloth of Jesus and even non-Christian scientists struggle to explain how the image of a man was imposed onto it. But some scientists have claimed that carbon dating has proven it is much younger than previously thought. However, Shroud of Turin Research Project Official Photographer Barrie Schwortz joins Glenn to explain why he’s refuting that claim. According to Schwortz, who was once a “total skeptic” of the Shroud, the carbon dating was improperly done. Instead, he believes the most plausible explanation is simple: “This is the burial shroud of the historic Jesus of Nazareth.”
September 20, 2023 – Just when we thought we knew it all, the world of science has been shaken to its core after some recent discoveries! Researchers have stumbled upon something so incredible about the Shroud of Turin, it challenges our very understanding of history and faith.
