December 14, 2022 – As the US finalizes its plans to send Patriot air defense missiles to Ukraine, Russian officials are warning against the move, saying the Patriot missiles will be a prime target of Russian airstrikes. The US decided to send Patriot missiles to Ukraine after Russian bombardment continued to target energy facilities and infrastructure. CNN’s Will Ripley reports.

December 16, 2022 – Ukrainian authorities say Russia has launched another major missile attack on energy facilities and infrastructure. Local authorities in the capital Kyiv and the northeastern city of Kharkiv reported explosions.
The latest strikes come as Ukrainian military and civilian leaders warn that the Kremlin is preparing for a new widescale offensive as early as January.
It’s been reported that the US is preparing to send Patriot missile systems to Ukraine. Russian officials say that arming Ukraine with Patriot missiles would be regarded as an escalation and would have consequences.
December 24, 2022 – After being transferred to Ukraine, the MIM-104A Patriot defense system was sent to the eastern combat unit, where it immediately shot down the latest Russian fighter!

May 8, 2023 – Ukraine says it has for the first time used a US-made Patriot air defense system to intercept a Russian hypersonic missile. CNN’s Sam Kiley reports.

June 17, 2023 – The Russian Defense Ministry showed off a destroyed “Ukrainian tank”, which turned out to be Russian. On June 13, the Russian defense ministry published a clip of a burned out tank on its Telegram channel. The post read, “Anti-tank units destroyed a column of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Vremevsky”. However, the spokesperson for the Odessa military administration pointed out that the clip actually showed a Russian T-80BV.
