The Call

Regina Ilyinichna Spektor is a Russian-born American singer, songwriter, and pianist. This is “The Call” one of her best songs, I think, sung when the final credits are shown at the end of the motion picture, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Harry Gregson-Williams composed the soundtrack of the motion picture, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, released in the United States in 2008.

The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of fantasy stories written by British author C. S. Lewis, illustrated by Pauline Baynes, and originally published in London between 1950 and 1956.

These wonderful stories take place in the fictional realm of Narnia, a world of magic, mythical beasts, and talking animals.
The stories are the adventures of children from our real world who are magically transported to Narnia, where they are called upon by the lion Aslan to protect Narnia from evil.

C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien, author of The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and the Silmarillion, were legendary friends who met at an Oxford faculty meeting in 1926. Our world has been greatly blessed because of their presence here.

Thank you, Lord. They fulfilled their purpose.
