July 3, 2023 – At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia believed it had completely obliterated Ukraine’s Naval Forces. However, what ensued was what experts worldwide referred to as the humiliation of Russia’s largest fleet: the sinking of the flagship Moskva, the liberation of Snake Island, and the successful Ukrainian operations on water, land, and in the air. On the occasion of the Ukrainian Navy Day, we recap their heroic journey.
